Mary is a Portland artist working in paint, bronze, and glass. Her work is abstract and autobiographical, a conversation about time, place, and material. Mary’s work accounts for the trials and triumphs of the materials with which it was made. Hinckley communicates the fuzzy delineations between an observational understanding of nature and its contrived counterparts.
