Queenless Kingdom

In 2022, I revisited the UK with my mom, eager to explore England and Scotland and capture our journey with my camera. We embarked on a long quest traveling the entire length of England by train. My mom and I started in London, then traveled to Durham, Newcastle, Edinburgh, then all the way back down to London again.

During our trip, we experienced historic events such as visiting the country 1 month after the Queen's passing, political upheavals fighting for the Prime Minister position (While we were there they changed their Prime Minister for the 3rd time in 2 months), and climate change protests. These moments allowed us to witness various aspects of UK culture and history, which we had only a small prior knowledge of before.
